EASI-EXTRACT® T-2 & HT-2

Intended use:

Immunoaffinity columns for use in conjunction with an HPLC system for detection of T-2 and HT-2 in a wide range of commodities.

 

General information:

T-2 and HT-2 mycotoxins in a sample are extracted, filtered, diluted and passed slowly through the column where binding takes place between the antibody and the T-2 and HT-2 toxin. The column is then washed to remove any extraneous unbound pigments. The purified T-2 and HT-2 mycotoxins are released from the column using 100 % methanol. The eluate is then evaporated to drynesss and derivatised using D-MAP and 1-AN. The sample is evaporated again and reconstituted in mobile phase prior to injection onto an HPLC.

Detection limit:

As little as 0.05 ng/ml of T-2 and 0.15 ng/ml of HT-2.

Methanol.

18 months at 4 °C.
