EASI-EXTRACT® ZEARALENONE

Intended use:

Immunoaffinity columns for use in conjunction with an HPLC system for detection of zearalenone in a wide range of commodities.

 

General information:

Zearalenone in the sample can be extracted, filtered, diluted and passed slowly through the EASI-EXTRACT® ZEARALENONE column where binding takes place between the antibody and the toxin. The EASI-EXTRACT® ZEARALENONE column is then washed to remove any extraneous unbound pigments. The purified zearalenone is released from the column using 100 % methanol prior to injection onto an HPLC.

10 wide format immunoaffinity columns (RP91).
50 wide format immunoaffinity columns (RP90N).

Sample preparation:

Extraction, filtration and dilution.

Detection limit:

As little as 1.67 ng/ml of zearalenone.

Extraction Solvents:

Methanol or acetonitrile.

Approvals:

Used in CEN and BCR collaborative trials.

Shelf life:

18 months at 4 °C.
