EASI-EXTRACT® VITAMIN B12

 Intended use:

Immunoaffinity columns for detection of vitamin B12 in a wide range of commodities.

 General information:

Vitamin B12 in the sample is extracted according to the recommended procedure. The pH of the extract is checked and adjusted as required before being filtered and passed slowly through the EASI-EXTRACT® vitamin B12 column where binding takes place between the antibody and the vitamin. The column is then washed to remove any extraneous unbound pigments and the vitamin B12 is released from the column using neat methanol. The sample is then evaporated and reconstituted in a solution of trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) prior to final detection by HPLC.
