Intended use:

Solid phase columns for purification of trichothecenes from food and feed commodities.

 

General information:

Two formats of trichothecene columns are available, a standard Trichothecene P column (P51) for analysis of cereal samples and a more densely packed Trichothecene EP column (P53) for highly coloured, pigmented samples such as animal feed. Both columns can be used for simultaneous detection of A and B trichothecenes by GC MS or in conjunction with an HPLC for detection of the most common trichothecenes including deoxynivalenol and nivalenol. The Trichothecene columns reduce background interference producing better chromatography and improving accuracy of results.

As little as 0.1 ppm DON, 0.2 ppm T-2 and
0.2 ppm HT-2 by GCMS.
