Intended use:
RIDASCREEN® β-Lactoglobulin is a competitive enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative analysis of native and processed β-lactoglobulin in products like hypoallergenic baby food (hydrolyzed milk products, milk powder) as well as in
beverages and food (yoghurt, rusk, sausages etc.) containing whey, milk or milk powder.
General information:
Milk can be present as an ingredient or as a contamination in raw and processed
products and can cause allergic reactions.
According to the EU Directive 2003/89/EG from 10th November 2003, milk must
be declared on food labels.
